NEW DRUGSTORE MAKEUP! Milani, Jordana, WetNWild, Etc.

Hi lovelies,

It's been a while since my last post.

I bought a few things from the drugstore the other day so I thought I'd post about them here.

First i'll start with the Jordana "sweet cream matte lip color" lipsticks.

These are the whole reason I went to the drugstore.

I only managed to find 2 colors out of the 4 I was looking for.

Here they are and swatches. P.S. They were only $2.99!

The purple color is called "Mixed berry soufflé "
The orange/red color is called "Mango sorbet"

These are pretty good for the price.

They do have a strong scent to them when applying.
It smells kind of like play-doh to me lol.

They're definitely matte and actually a bit difficult to remove (if you're using makeup wipes like I did)

They also leave a stain on the lips.

Overall I like them though, I'm currently on the hunt for 2 of the more "natural" colors.

OK.

Next I bought one of the Milani everyday eyes eyeshadow collection palette.

Here it is along with swatches.

This one is "05 earthy elements"

Its the one I could see myself using a lot if not every day.

So far I've been using it a lot and I really like the quality of the shadows.

I've also used the brush it comes with and I have to say, It gets the job done!

Much better than those little sponge tip brushes.

I have a new video using this palette on my YouTube channel
You can check it out here: www.youtube.com/conaviconavi

This one cost me $9.99 at Walgreens.

Moving on!

I bought some random NYC cosmetics lipsticks.

These are called NYC Expert Last

I saw they were only $1.99 and thought to myself, why not?

They claim to last hours on the lips, I doubt thats true, but I haven't tried them out yet.

Here are the lipsticks and some hand swatches.

I was actually very surprised when I swatched these.

I thought they were going to be a lot more sheer but they're actually very pigmented!

I'm excited to try them out on my lips soon.

My favorite color is the brown/nude.

From left to right the names are:

"Sugar plum"
"Creamy mauve"
"Creamy caramel"

Make sure to check out my Instagram for lip swatches of these soon

OK and here is the last thing I got.

I bought this geometric highlighting powder from WetNWild in "Sun Ceremony"

I have a couple of WetNWild highlighters that I love so I thought I would try this one out too.

This one was $4.99 at Walgreens.

The swatch in this picture isn't that great, but I have a video swatch on my Instagram if you'd like to check that out.

Here is what it looks like

I have to say it doesn't show up as much as I'd like it to on my face but its nice for a subtle highlight.

Anyways,

That's all the items I got at the drugstore this time!
I plan on going back to look for the other Jordana matte lipsticks lol.

I will post swatches of them here if I find them!

Thanks for checking out my blog!

xoxo

DYEING MY HAIR BLONDE AT HOME - WELLA 12A FROSTY ASH BLONDE

Hello lovelies! Today I wanted to post a FLASHBACK FRIDAY video. This is a video I did last summer when I dyed my hair blonde at home, by myself! I decided to go blonde last year and I wanted to do it myself to save some money and also so that if it went wrong, I'd only have myself to blame lol. I bleached my hair a few times using a few things from Sally's. Then after bleaching it and waiting, bleaching and waiting, I wanted it to be a bit more frosty. So I decided to add this Wella 12A Frosty Ash Blonde to it. I actually LOVED the results. Here is the video of me dyeing my hair at home! If you have any questions feel free to ask! Also please thumbs up the video and subscribe to my YouTube channel! xo -C

NEW RIMMEL LONDON SCULPTING PALETTE BY KATE MOSS + Swatches

Hi everyone, I recently made a trip to Walgreens and noticed this small palette in one of the displays. I was immediately drawn to it. It's the new Rimmel London sculpting palette designed by Kate Moss. I only picked up one and got the color "003 Golden Bronze" It cost me $6.99 at Walgreens. Here is the palette:  Here are some swatches! This palette looks very promising and I'm excited to try it out on my face. On the display it said this particular one was for "Medium to Deep" skin tones. I only saw two more options there  "Fair to Light" and "Light to medium" There could be more but I'm not sure since they're fairly new to me. Anyways that's it for this post!
